The trial against the 82-year-old gynecologist Dr. Sánchez is causing a stir in Barcelona. The former head of the clinic must answer for having taken newborns away from mothers during the Franco dictatorship in order to give them to adoptive families loyal to the regime. When two nuns who worked as nurses with Sánchez in the maternity ward at the time are murdered, Commissioner Fina Valent and her partner Xavi Bonet suspect a connection.
Barcelona's city beach is a vibrant party mile. There, restaurateur Marc is not only celebrating the spectacular opening of his beach club, but also a special revival. For the first time in a long time, his old gang is getting together: the doctor Sofia, the IT guy Sergi, the headmaster Alex and the photographer Bruno. Suddenly the power goes out and Sofia takes over the reins like in her legendary party days. The exuberance is suddenly over when Bruno's body is discovered.
